Sound of tap of Ashley’s shoes were heard in the quitly jungle. The unheel leather shoes is just making slowly sound on every it’s tap. The shoe’s long line is banding Ashley’s calf strongly. She sat on the timber. Look at Jack who is busy cleaning his sword.
Evening with it’s red light couldn’t pass too much on leaves. The small bird stood on the branch of oak tree, quitely to see them. The wind blow slowly, opened the dialog.
“I know.”
“I can’t to wait longer too. I’ve prepared my arrows and my bow,” said Ashley happily.
“What do you want? This is just for men!”
“Just for men or just for you!” Ashley mockery.
“That’s! You have known,” said Jack indistinctly.
Ashley sniff. She climbed the branch easily. Sat on there and played with the small animals.
Jack shake his head to see her. “You are a girl but your behavior is like a boy. I don’t know what do you want, actually,” said him slowly. And it seemed to Ashley didn’t hear that.
Jack still remember the last yesterday when Ashley came to him. Brought him a bag full of food. And said that she want to join with Jack to guard the village. But Jack refused it.
“You can’t do it alone. Robbin Hood need his friends too, to founding the justice.”
“So you want to be like Marion,” joke Jack. Marion is Robbin Hood’s wife who join with Robbin’s club.
“No!” Ashley was ashamed. “But I want to fight together with you. The village is not your responsible yourself. And I might to help you.” Ashley look at Jack seriously. It made Jake choice to not to make this hard discussion be longer. “The village and all of inside it are my responsible. Because I am a Knight of Duffcant. It is better for you came back. And thanks you for your food,” said him calmly and went away before Aslhey have an opportunity to reply again.
But Ashley kept staying there, in the Jack’s secret place. Playing with the small animals, training to shoot the arrows, and hunting the deers and boars.
Jack must admited if Ashley has talent in shooting arrows. But it seemed she felt comfortable enough there. Although Jack has tried to make her unconformtable with not to pay attention her continously.
“Let me join, Jack. I’ll help you!”
“For this time I can handle the problems as like this myself and I still safe and healthy. So no, thanks,” Jack keep to refused. Today is the time which is predicted by the priest of village if the robbers will be coming to Jack’s small village. A things that often be happened and Jack always died to make lost a group of thieves alone.
“They are closer and not of time to be a Heroes!” mockery Aslhey while reach arrows and bow.
“I’m not!” in this time, attitude of Ashley has made him so annoyed.
“Yes you are, Jack!
“I have heard of many stories about the cruelty of this one robbers. They are not amateur! The vilage’s riches are not little. Will coming the time to the great robber came to rob it, and this is the time! They really dangerous, Jack!” Ashley rustle.
“Because of that I orderd you not to join. You are a girl, will make it more difficult and make all of my plan failed! So go and don’t ever again to bother me, Ashley!” Jack really can’t handle himself. Ashley silenced, brokenheart. Jack do too, knowing that his words are too impolite. So he go and left Ashley alone.
For a moment Ashley silenced in her place then rustle and went in the different way with Jack.
Meanwhile, Jack had been hiding on the tree, looked at a group of robbers of horsely who are passing. He made two unconscious robbers in the back, use small injured. But, it seemed been known. Two knifes which he throw to them can be taken. And the twenty eight of robbers look at Jack.
Jack is not only lose in numbers, but also lost in the skilful. Ashley was right, they really great robbers. They can make Jack be pushed. “Do you think yourself can blocked us, eh?!” mockery the head of robbers.
Suddenly come two arrows, shoot exactly on heart of two robbers. Then the other arrows come again. Many of them are in position of unready. Can’t detected Ashley who stood on the tree. It happened so fast. The other robbers died with Ashley’s arrows. Jack couldn’t believe it. She jumped from the tree and her green drees is flying. She landing slowly, unnatural.
“You are a fairy?” Jack is so surprised knowing this.
Ashley nodding. “Fairy of forest, Jack.
“Look at you to fight alone make me astonished. You are in big dangerous, I can’t let you alone. Don’t you take on as a slave yourself to the village which even no caring your safety, Jack!”
